Join Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) on Wednesday, October 1st for a night of incredible food for an incredible cause. Enjoy a three course meal at "Morton's Steakhouse" all for $75 with choices from top entrees. Twenty-five dollars from every meal will be donated to SCAN. Sam Miller's Restaurant is Celebrating 35 Years of Distinguished Fine Dining by helping to stop child abuse and neglect in the Greater Richmond area. On Sunday, October 12th they will be donating 75% of their profits to Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) and Prevent Child Abuse Virginia.

Wine on Wednesday at Fleming's

On Wednesday, October 15th come support Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) while enjoying some of the finest wines Fleming's has to offer. The Event starts at 5:30pm in the Flemings bar area. View the special wine menu and choose from eight different wines by the glass or three by the bottle. All the wines are discounted from the regular menu prices. All proceeds benefit Greater Richmond SCAN.

Mark your calendars for the second annual Bourbon Street in Shockoe Bottom sponsored by SCAN's Board of Young Professionals. This event will be held on February 21, 2009 from 8pm - midnight. More information will be coming soon.


June Swoon 2008

The second Annual June Swoon to benefit Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) was held on June 7, 2008 at Richmond Country Club. June Swoon is an event in celebration of Marcy Handshaw and her compassionate work on behalf of SCAN. Greater Richmond SCAN's Toadally 80's Dance Party was held on June 21, 2008 at Toad's Place in Richmond. There was great music provided by R.E.M. Tribute band Onion Head and DJ Enzo.

  • 2008 SCAN Progressive Dinner and Auction

    Thank you for making this years Progressive Dinner a success! The event began with cocktails and appetizers at a private home. Guests were then transported to one of 26 private homes in and around Windsor Farms where they enjoyed the main course. The evening ended at the Tuckahoe Woman's Club where guests enjoyed dessert, live music, dancing and a live auction.
