This invitation-only event sells out every year! The event begins with cocktails and appetizers at a private home. Guests are then transported to one of 26 private homes in and around Windsor Farms where they enjoy the main course. The evening ends at the Tuckahoe Woman's Club where guests enjoy dessert, live music, dancing and a live auction.

Villa in St. Lucia

Hummingbird House is a striking and original villa set well back into the hills of the Cap Estate, a residential area in the far north of St Lucia. It has lovely views over to Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island. It is built into the hillside, and as you arrive, you find that the driveway is flanked on one side by the roof of the house, which looks like a large upturned boat hull. The accommodation and living areas are set at descending levels which give out onto verandas, one of which has been built around a large flamboyant tree. Hummingbird House has three bedrooms, two on the main level and one upstairs and can accommodate six guests. Downstairs one bedroom has twin beds which convert to a king and windows facing the flamboyant tree. Cat's Cap 2009

Pinwheels for Prevention

Pinwheels for Prevention is designed to show the public in a very dramatic way that child abuse and neglect happen in every community and encourages them to focus on prevention as part of an overall plan to break the cycle of abuse. The Pinwheels purchased at SCAN's Auction will go to support specific abuse prevention programs in the Greater Richmond area.
