Make a Donation

Make a Donation Online or Through the Mail

Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now) relies on the generous support of the community to provide high quality, effective child abuse and neglect prevention and treatment services. Your help will enable us to continue our work.

• SCAN accepts financial donations online throughout the year.
• Please note that your credit card statement will read JustGive, but the money comes to SCAN. We save a lot of bank and credit card fees by using JustGive's secure online donation service.
• Please also note that SCAN only solicits financial contributions via the Internet from people living in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Giving Through United Way

When you join a United Way campaign, you have the opportunity to choose how your contribution is spent—you can have your gift distributed for you or you can give your gift to a specific organization. SCAN is eligible to receive donor designations through the United Way campaigns. Our campaign codes are as follows:

Shop and Raise Money for SCAN

How do you get started? Follow these three simple steps:

1. JOIN: Register for free with Benevolink
2. SHOP: Shop at over 200 stores
3. GIVE: Logon to Benevolink's website and designate your funds to SCAN on a quarterly basis

• Volunteering your time and talents
• Donating items from SCAN's wishlist
• Honoring or remembering a loved one by making a gift in his or her name
• Making a gift of stock or real estate
